I am now starting the design for the BlinkMtr03 3-axis controller. The design requirements are:

1. User inputs: 2 joysticks, 2 push buttons. Joystick1 will control X/Y, Joystick2 will control Z and speed. At least 24 GPIO.
2. Motor control: 3 A3967 drivers to control 3 motors

This is an SMT gull wing part, which may make assembly difficult. I would prefer a through-hole part but I could not find one.

This is a through-hole momentary on pushbutton switch.

UPDATE: When these buttons arrived I could immediately tell they were much too large to use on this board. I need buttons that are much smaller.

I settled on this switch: C&K Components RACON8 gullwing (Z)
